Help a Canadian med student go to South Africa for an elective!

Hi all,

I am approaching my final year of MD training. I have a strong interest in Trauma and would love to train in a South Africa emergency department. Unfortunately, the latest I can go is January 2013 and medical schools are booking into March 2013 for international students.

Do any of you know of a way for me to join a trauma centre for January?

Emergency Medicine in Botswana Update: We're Recruiting Faculty!

In January 2011, Botswana became the newest Sub-Saharan African country to offer emergency medicine post-graduate training.
